Information for presenters
General information
The conference is running on a very tight schedule, so it is crucial that all talks begin and end on time. To help ensure this, please observe the following:
- 1. Arrive at the appropriate conference room where you will be presenting at least 5 minutes before the session in which you are participating begins. If possible, make sure your handouts and/or PowerPoint presentations are ready in advance.
- 2. When preparing you talk, remember that you will have 20 minutes for presentation, and 10 minutes for Q&A. If your talk runs over 20 minutes, time will be deducted from the Q&A period
Handouts
If you are using handouts, we suggest that you bring 75-100 copies. If you will be making your copies in Berkeley, information about copy shops near to campus will be included in your conference packet.
Powerpoint presentations
We ask that you bring your own laptop. Make sure that your laptop is projector compatible (some older models are not) and that you have all necessary cords and adapters.
If you are not able to bring your own laptop, special arrangements can be made. Please contact us as soon as possible.
