I am Native American, and Odawa is my ancestral language. Its endonym is Nishnaabemwin, and is also known as Eastern Ojibwe. My second set of names, Nimkiins MikZaabii—which means "Little Thunderer Submerging Beaver"—comes from it.

I run an Odawa language learning website at Nimkiins.com. While still in development, the current site contains vocabulary learning exercises, a chatroom, a mini dictionary, a set of stories, and a verb conjugator.

The intention is for this website to host my dissertation project.
