ABOUT
I was a student in the PhD Linguistics program at UC Berkeley from 2012 to 2015 and received my MA in 2014.
Between 2014-2016, I created the Wiyot Language Database, an online dictionary of the native Californian language with around 2,800 entries and an oral narrative database of approximately 10,000 words with audio recordings.
My research interests have included morphosyntax, semantics, pragmatics; language documentation and revitalization; natural language processing; and linguistic corpus/database design. Previously at San Francisco State University I also focused on discourse analysis and phonetics.
More broadly, I am interested in applying digital and computational methods to enhance the usage and analysis of natural language data.
