I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley. My main interests lie in phonology, especially issues at the morphosyntax/phonology interface. I am currently working on my dissertation on dominance effects involving grammatical tone and grammatically-assigned prosodic patterns generally. A significant part of my research involves field linguistics, particularly in Nigeria where I have worked extensively on Edoid languages. See my research page for more.

Feel free to get in touch with me to discuss any aspect of my research, or if you have any questions on graduate life at Berkeley.
