I am currently a Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow in the Cognitive and Information Sciences Program at UC Merced. My areas of research are syntax, semantics and pragmatics using cognitive and functional approaches, including Construction Grammar, Frame Semantics, and Conceptual Metaphor Theory. I also use NLP and corpus methods in the analysis of semantic frames and metaphors in naturally-occurring texts.

My manuscripts and presentations can be found in the Publications section on this site, as well as on Academia.edu.
