Branch and Long posit /kʷ/ and /ʒ/, while Vásquez excludes these segments from the inventory. Vásquez also proposes /ə/ instead of /ɨ/, and /u/ instead of /o/. Long posits /ʔ/, which we include here due to its appearance in other Barbacoan languages.
