The following paradigms show predicate negation for various tenses, as well as 3sg object marking:

Negation- past tense:
Gloss	Sereer	Gloss	Sereer
1sg- 'I didn't see him'	ga' 'inum	1pl- 'we didn't see him'	inga' 'iraan
2sg- 'you didn't see him'	ga' 'ino'	2pl- 'you all didn't see him'	nunga' 'iraan
3sg- 'he didn't see her'	ga' 'iraan	3pl- 'they didn't see him'	nga' 'iraan

Negation- proximal tense:
Gloss	Sereer	Gloss	Sereer
1sg- 'I don't see him'	ga'eenum	1pl- 'we don't see him'	inga'iraan
2sg- 'you don't see him'	ga'ino'	2pl- 'you all don't see him'	nunga'iraan
3sg- 'he doesn't see her'	ga'iraan	3pl- 'they don't see him'	nga'iraan
