Note: Applied by Happy Camp Karuk to people of Katimin (JPH ethno 380). Plural is yúrukvaaras 'Yurok Indians'.

  • payurukvâaras hâari kunikyâati, kunipíti, xuparish'úhraam. The downriver Indians sometimes made yew pipes, they say. [Reference: TK 150.13]
  • xuparish'íshraam yurukvaara'uhram'íkyav. The yew pipe is a Yurok make of pipe. [Reference: TK 135.12]
