Lodging

Hotel lodgings are usually in high demand in Berkeley, and rooms tend to fill quickly. We recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible or use an alternative service like AirBnB.

Budget-friendly, near campus:

  • The Nash Hotel is reasonably priced ($79-129 per night) and not far from campus. Some rooms have shared bathroom facilities ($79), but for a higher price you can reserve a room with a private bathroom ($99-129).
  • The Berkeley YMCA provides inexpensive rooms ($54-101 per night) close to campus with shared bathroom facilities.
  • The Faculty Club on the UC Berkeley Campus offers nice rooms for less than $130 per night. There are fewer than 10 rooms available on a first come, first serve basis. Guests should email the club directly or call 510-643-9655 to check on availability; please make reference to "ACAL" when making your reservation.
