Water collected on the earth.

then    then    woman    they.were.told    soon    big.storage.basket    you.weave   
And the women were told, "Weave a big storage basket."

[3] kári    xás    kunvik   
then    then    they.wove   
So they wove.

[4] xás    vúra    xára    kunvikúur   
then    Intensive    long.time    they.wove   
And they wove for a long time.

[5] vúra    táayva    kunvíkroon    icháaniich   
Intensive    several    they.wove.around    at.one.time   
They wove several strands at one time.

[6] kári    xás    pakunípthith    kári    xás    axváha    kuniyvúruk   
then    then    they.finished.weaving    then    then    pitch    they.rubbed.it   
And when they finished weaving, they smeared it with pitch.

you.see    the.water    it.collected   
So the water collected.

[8] vaa    káan    sú'    kunívyiihramnihanik    vaa    uthivrúhuthunanik   
so    tie.up.with    inside    they.got.into.it    so    they.floated.around   
(The people) got inside (the basket) there, they floated around that way.

[9] vaa    kumá'ii    payêem    áraar     kun'áraarahitih   
so    because.of    now    human    they.are.living   
That's why people are living now.

[10] víri    vaa    kinípeeranik    hûutva    kóo    ithívthaaneen    uthaanêehaak    xáyfaat    ik    kúkuum    vúra    vaa    kukupeepvíkaha   
so    so    they.told.them    somehow    as.much.as    land    it.exists    don't!    must    again    Intensive    so    you.must.not.weave.that.way   
(But) they were told, "However long the earth exists, you musn't weave that way (several strands at a time) again."

[11] yukun    ithivthaaneentaaníha   
you.see    world.coming.to.an.end   
You see, (it will be) the end of the world.
