There is a tree standing there.

[3] káru ávansa káan uhyárih, úksuupkuti pa'ípaha.
And a man is standing there, he is pointing at the tree.


[4] kúkuum vúra víri payêem áxak pa'ávansa.
Now again there are two men.

[5] víri vaa vúra yítha úksuupkuti pa'ípaha.
There is one pointing at the tree.


[6] víri payêem kuyraak tah, pa'ávansa.
Now by this time there are three men.

[7] káru yítha úkviipti mukún'aavkam.
And one is running in front of them.

[8] víri vaa vúra úksuupkuti pa'ípaha.
There is (one) pointing at the tree.


[9] kúkuum vúra vaa vúra káan uhyárih, vaa vúra úksuuptih.
Again he is standing there like that, he is pointing like that.

The one is still running in front of him like that.


[11] víri vaa vúra kári pákuyraak, káan kun'iruvêehriv.
There are the three still standing there like that.

The man is pointing like that.

And now two remain standing.

(One) is pointing like that.

The man is running in front of him like that.

Now a woman is the one standing, she is pointing at the tree.

She is long-haired.

The woman is standing there like that, she is pointing like that.

There are two men now.

Again the little girl is standing there, she is pointing at the tree like that.

Next to her is standing her father.

Again she is standing there like that, now two men are standing next to her.

The girl is standing there like that.

The man is running like that, sort of far away now.

The bird is flying there, it is sort of afraid of the dog.

The dog is chasing a rabbit.


[51] pachishíi káan úkrii, tóo kfuuyshur, umyáhyaahtih.
The dog is sitting there, it is tired, it is panting.


[52] túuyship uvêehrimva, xás utíshraamhitih musúrukam.
Mountains are standing, and a valley is below them.

[53] xás musmus'asiktâan káan uhyárih, pírish u'áamtih.
A cow is standing there, she is eating grass.


[54] káan tishrámkaam, xás úhthaamhitih, káru ipahá'anamahach káan u'íihya.
A big field is there, and a man is planting there, and a little tree is standing there.

[55] káru pirishxárahsa uvêehrimva mupîimach.
And tall grass is standing next to him.

[56] utishramhúniihva káru máruk, víri vaa káan káru uhthaamhíramhitih.
There are fields on the slopes uphill also, there is cultivated ground there too.


[57] pa'ávansa usrûuntih payuraschíshiih.
The man is leading the horse.


[58] ukûuntakoo páchishiih, ikrivtakukíriipux, káru ishrêeriipux.
He is riding the horse, without a saddle, and without a bridle.


[59] payôok ávansa vuraakírak uvôoruraatih, úmkaanvutih.
Here a man is climbing on a ladder, he is picking apples.


[60] payôok kuyráak axíich kun'iruvêehriv.
Here three children are standing.

[61] káru tapas'ápsuun káan ithyárukirukam utákviihriv, muxvâa a' uhyárih.
And a rattlesnake is lying coiled there across-stream, its head is standing up.

[62] xás paaxíich kuníkshuupkuti pa'ápsuun.
The children are pointing at the snake.


[63] payôok áxak pa'ápsuun, kúnish chími kuníshkaaksipreevish.
Here are two snakes, they are sort of going to strike (lit., jump).

[64] paaxíich uumkun káru tá kunmah, pa'ápsuun.
The children also see the snakes.


[65] pa'ápsuun ithyáruk kuníshkaakaraanik, xás paaxíich tá kun'áathva, xás kuníhmar.
The snakes have jumped across, and the children are afraid, and they ran.

[66] xás yítha paaxíich tóo kyívish, tóo kyívivruk.
One child fell down, he fell down over (the bank).


[67] páy uum úuth yúrasak.
This is out at the ocean.

[68] xás pakúusra tuvôonsip.
The sun has risen.

[69] káru pápaa úuth uthívruuhtih.
And the boat is floating out in the water.


[70] káan asiktávaan uhyári yurástiim.
A woman is standing there on the seashore.

[71] xás pa'ávansa úuth uvíitih.
The man is paddling out in the water.


[72] payôok yurástiim kunifyúkiichvutih pa'ávansa káru payeeripáxvuh.
Here the man and the girl are taking a walk on the seashore.


[73] páy uum pichas'ípaha uvêehrimva, xás simsímtas utaaspáthahitih.
These peach trees are standing, and there is a wire fence around.


[74] páy uum úhthaam, koonmúrax.
This is a garden, nothing but corn.


[75] páy uum tishrámkaam, xás utuyshíiprinahiti yiiv.
This is a big valley, and there are mountains rising far away.

[76] xás ipahá'anamahach káan u'íihya.
A little tree is standing there.


[77] áxak pátiik, a' kunvêehriv.
There are two hands, they are standing upwards.


[78] páy uum tiik.
These are hands.

[79] xás aas kich.
They are wet.

[80] xás pa'íshaha tu'irihshúroo tik'ípanich.
The water is dripping off of the fingertips.


[81] amkír utháaniv.
A table is sitting.

[82] ásip ávahkam uthrítakoo.
A bowl is sitting on top.

[83] pa'asiktávaan utráamnihti pa'ásipak.
The woman is looking in the bowl.


[84] pa'asiktávaan yiivári kúuk tu'íipma, tóo ktaamsip pa'ásip.
The woman goes away again, she carries off the bowl.


[85] pa'amkír káan utháaniv, xás ukxúrikahiti ávahkam ípaha.
The table is sitting there, and a tree is drawn on top.

[86] káan pa'ávansa uhyárih, úmuustih.
A man is standing there, he is looking at it.


[87] xás tu'ûusip pa'ípaha, xás yiivári kúuk tu'íipma.
He picks up the tree, and goes away again.


[88] pa'ávansa muhrôo xákaan káan kun'iruvêehriv.
The man and his wife are standing there.

[89] pa'avansáxiich áachip uhyárih, payeenipaxvúhich uum ápapkam.
The boy is standing in the middle, the little girl is at the side.


[90] ishkêeshak xákarari áxak ávansa kun'iruvêehriv.
Two men are standing on each side of a river.

[91] yítha ithyáruk úksuupkaratih.
One is pointing across-stream.


[92] kúkuum vúra vaa kun'iruvêehriv pa'ávansas.
Again the men are standing like that.

[93] kúna vúra payêem ápapkam asiktávaan yítha.
But now one woman is on one side.

The one on this side is pointing at the two of them.


[95] payêem uum pa'asiktávaan ôokukam.
Now the woman is on this side.

[96] xás uum kunchúuphiti pa'ávansa xákaan.
She and the man are talking.

[97] pa'ithyárukam tá pácheech.
The one across-stream is alone by now.


[98] káan ára áxak, yítha uum fâatva âapun ukyâatih.
Two people are there, one is doing something on the ground.
