    There once lived an old woman.
  2. Kwe-see kue we'-yon chpee-gee (?) 'e-go (?) koy-poh keech he-gok'w 'wrhlkerh.
    And the girl ... in the morning she
  3. Kwe-see o ge'm, ... Ko-we-cho' na-nah kyaa-nek-so'm mue-wee ... herh-hlkerh.
    And she said, ... Don't ... dig ... bulbs.
  4. Kwe-see 'o so'n kue we'-yon nee-mee kyeee-gaa-nek's kue 'we-gerh-hlkerh.
    And so it was that the girl did not ... her bulbs.
  5. Ke-goy keech myah, tue-weet kem ee keech ... see nes-kwee.
    Every morning she jumped up, and
  6. Kwe-see koh-chee X 'o ge's nah... se-go-no-yey-ye'm.
    And once ... she thought ...
  7. He-see', Kyaa-nek-sok' 'ee nue 'ee-teen herh-hlkerh, kwe-see so kyaa-nek-sok'.
    It was thought, I dug ... bulbs, and so I dug.
  8. Kwe-see ...kyaa-newks.. huuek-soh kee-tee ho myah me-wah-sew nee kaap' 'ue ne-goo-no.
  9. Kwe-see wee-tee' ro-'o-pek' 'ue-wer'-yers keech kwe-see 'ue-gaa-yoh ... srok-see-yoh, kem 'ue kwermhlr... no-'o-mor.
  10. 'O le's, Kues kue kee so-no-wok'? Keech no'p-'e-nek' kue me-wah.
    S/he thought, What am I going to do? I've chased the boy.
  11. Kwe-see wo-nuek ... 'o'-le-peek 'o le'm ya-pue-'och.
  12. 'O le'm kue pe-rey, skwohl chee hek-sek', Ko-we-cho' nah kyaa-nek-so'm mue-wee herh-hlkerh.
    The old woman said,
  13. wehe-lo-wer keech 'o 'uuek-soh [1:05] Cho' me-ge-tohl-kwo'm.
    ... Take care of the child.
  14. Kwe-see kue we'-yon ma 'ap 'at 'ee-kee so myaahl-kep'.
    And the girl ... jumped.
  15. 'Ikee now ho myah kue me-wah n kaap' ue ne-goo-no'.
  16. Kwe-see 'o le'm kue pe-rey, Wok-hlew, tos, noh-pe'-wes.
    And the old woman said, Thank you, child, go inside.
  17. Kwe-see nee-kee wee nee chek-chek kue pe-rey.
    And the old woman ...
  18. Kwe-see 'o-wok see pek-cheek kue we'-yon.
    And ...

    Then s/he thought, um, What am I going to do? ... the boy.

    And s/he thought, "No.
  21. [1:32] Kue we'-yon kee (?) koy-poh keech myahl-kep' kue 'wrhlkerh kem.
    The girl jumped ... her bulb too.
  22. Mos no-wee-nep' 'o'-lep... kue me-wah.
    The boy was not happy
  23. Kwe-see kue me-wah kee 'ap neee-goh nee-yah ... kue pe-rey keech hoh-kuem 'wes-'o-nah.
    And the boy ...
